  • Best scope for the money, bar none

    By Ben on 2/18/2018

This scope and the 10x42 MQ are by far my favorite scopes. The 6x42 is a little more versatile for hunting use though in my opinion. I used to be a staunch Leupold guy but I tried the 6x42 MQ and now I have SWFA's on all my main using rifles. They always hold zero, always track, I never worry about them getting knocked off zero, they are built like tanks. The reticle is simple and easy to use. You just can't beat them, especially for $299.

  • Good scope

    By Stevel610 on 8/31/2017

I have owned this 2+ years. This scope is clear and bright. Actually bought this and a Leupold FX-3 6x42 at the same time for comparison. This was a bit clearer and brighter at dark than the Leupold. Sold the FX. The mil-quad is nice but a little thin in the quad section as the sun lowers though it has never prevented me from taking a shot. The 6x is probably a better magnification for most people and most purposes. I liked this scope so much, I just bought another SWFA 6x42 (mil-dot).
