The Tall Quick Detach mount for the ITT 6015 and PVS14 night vision monoculars are designed to rapidly and easily from a head/helmet mount or hand surveillance to a weapon mount. The unique Q.D. remains attached to the night vision monocular at all times and interfaces with the weapon's mount in mere seconds. The Q.D. ring mount permits optical co-alignment with optical sights, such as the Aimpoint or EOTech HOLOsight, that may be mounted in front of the night vision scope. This mount is fully compatible with MIL-STD-1913 dovetails and the GG&G FIRE System. If you prefer to mount the ITT 6015 or PVS14 directly to a flat top receiver, the Tall Q.D. mount will provide the necessary optical clearance over the front sight. When an Aimpoint is mounted in front of the Tall Q.D. ring/mount, one of the Cantilever Rings will be required to clear the front sight post and provide proper eye relief for the night vision/Aimpoint combination. The Q.D. Mount is manufactured from ordnance steel and aerospace aluminum finished to mil spec.
