On the other hand, the 20x50's fixed power simplicity provides optimum optical design in a compact package at an affordable price. Not only is this spotter, with it's single moving part, waterproof and fogproof but you also get a larger field-of-view, lighter weight and more compact, more durable construction.

When there's plenty of light, mirage severely limits the use of more than 20-24x magnification anyway and in low light, about 20x is all that's useful unless you have an 80mm or larger objective lens. Fully multi-coated optics quarantee that whichever little spotter you choose, you'll get all the brightness and clarity you've come to expect from Burris.
