The Surefire M6 Guardian is the brightest lithium powered flashlight SureFire makes. This light uses six lithium batteries in a quick-change magazine to produce light so stunningly bright that plice SWAT teams use it to temporarily blind and unbalance hostile subjects. The Surefire M6 comes with two interchangeable lamp assemblies producing either 250 lumens for one hour or a devastating 500 lumens for 20 minutes (30 times the light output of a typical two D-cell alkaline flashlight). The Surefire M6 also features a 2.5-inch TurboHead reflector to tightly concentrate the beam for longer-range applications. Like all lights in Surefire's Special Operations Series, the Surefire Guardian Assault Light is CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, coated in a super-rugged military specification Type III hard-anodized finish, and includes a shock-isolated bezel/amp assembly that can withstand the repeated reoil of a large caliber weapon. The Surefire M6 also features unique switching originally developed for law enforcement - twist for constant on, or depress the tailcap button for momentary illumination or emergency signaling.
