The Outdoorsman Series consists of two models, the Surefire E1L and SureFire E2L Outoorsman, powered by one and two lithium batteries respectively. The Surefire Outdoorsman Series offers a single level of white LED light, operated with a click-on tailcap. The light source is a single-die 3 watt Luxeon LED producing 30 lumens (Surefire E2L) and 25 lumens (Surefire E1L).

The Surefire E1L Outdoorsman model is CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum with a ntural hard anodized finish of Type III MilSpec standards. The Surefire E1L is O-ring sealed against moisture and comes with a black oxide coated stainless steel pocket clip that easily clips to the bill of a ballcap to make into a handsfree headlamp.
