The latest generation of SureFire's patented CombatLight, the Surefire Z2 is used by FBI agents, U.S. Air Marshals, and thousands of police departments worldwide. CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and anodized against corrosion and wear, the Surefire Z2 is powered by the two lithium batteries (10-year shelf life), and a patented rubber grip ring allows the light to be operated with a handgun using the Rogers/Surefire technique. And, although less than five inches long, the Surefire Z2 produces enough light to momentarily blind a resistant or hostile subject whose eyes are dark adapted. The Surefire Z2 also features unique switching originally developed for law enforcement- twist for onstant-on, or depress the tailcap button for momentary illumination or emergency signaling.
