Leupold designates two models as Rimfire scopes that do not have adjustable objectives and have the parallax pre-set at 60 yards from the factory. The E.F.R. (Extended Focal Range) scopes will also work well on rimfire or airguns. The E.F.R.s have adjustable objectives that have the ability to focus at a very close range, thus being parallax free at closer ranges for airguns or rimfires. Airguns require scopes to be extra heavy duty because of the reverse recoil (all Leupold scopes are airgun compatible). The rimfire/airgun scopes are built to the same standard as the centerfire scopes.
